The Opportunity:
The UK is leading the way in advancing the use of technology
to reduce congestion and improve travel times. Working
as part of a team which provides specialist consultancy
services to key government and private sector RUC stakeholders,
the selected individual will fulfil a client facing role
within the key agencies across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for project
delivery and ongoing business development in key transport
accounts. The role is a senior one and the clients will
expect a professional, knowledgeable expert whom they
can rely upon to provide thought leadership, an independent
source of ‘trusted' information and excellent program
management input. The role will require an analytical
and statistical approach to work delivery and clear presentation
of results and findings.
Requirements:
The selected candidate will have 5+ years experience in
a client facing, project based environment. He/she will
have direct experience of running projects and acting
as part of the project management team.
Demonstrated expertise in the transport area will be essential,
in particular relevant experience within the road user
charging domain – the successful candidate will be
expected to develop a deep and trusting relationship with
clients, fostering long term partnerships, and establishing,
maintaining and growing a network of client contacts.
The selected candidate will have a strong
grounding in statistical and mathematical methods. The
ability to design and utilise appropriate analytically
based approaches to address RUC issues will be key – as
well as the ability to translate detailed findings from
such analysis into meaningful ‘business' findings.
He/she will also have an appreciation and understanding
of business case assessment and demonstrated ability to
present of business case findings.
The selected candidate will have a technical
background and will be used to working as part of a project
delivery team. Skills in tools such as Access and SQL Navigator
are essential. A grounding in GIS and associated skills
in either MapInfo or ArcGIS will be a significant advantage.
Experience in Python, Avenue and Java would also be helpful.
The successful candidate will have excellent
presentation and communication skills, both written and
verbal. The ability to interact effectively with senior
executives within client and partner organisations is a
prerequisite. He/she will have demonstrated exceptional
leadership skills in a previous role.

This is a full-time position working in Mapflow's Dublin
headquarters to work in our engineering team in the development
of leading edge GIS applications.
The individual will be highly rewarded, from both a financial

and will work with clients in the full application development
lifecycle from user requirements, design, build, training
and support. The role is a senior one and the clients
will expect a professional, knowledgeable expert whom
they can rely upon to provide thought leadership, an
independent source of ‘trusted' information and
excellent project management input.
Requirements:
The selected candidate will have 5+ years experience in
a client facing, project based environment. He/she will
have direct experience of developing MapInfo/Mapbasic
applications and supporting MapInfo implementations.
A training qualification in MapInfo software would be an
advantage.
The successful candidate will have excellent
