Industry Leader to Head Up Mapflow's UK Operations

Dublin, 30 October, 2006 - Mapflow, leading provider of location intelligence solutions to the insurance and transport markets, today announced that Steve Hurcom has joined the company as Managing Director of its UK operations.

In addition to his doctorate from the University of Bristol, Mr. Hurcom brings more than ten years of sales and management experience to Mapflow. Most recently, he was Managing Director of Europe, the Middle East and Africa at bcgi. Previously, Hurcom was European Sales Director for Autodesk Location Services where he successfully led a team that created new business with tier-one mobile operators. Prior to Autodesk, Hurcom was Sales Director at MapInfo, where he was responsible for the significant growth in their telecoms business across Europe.
