NAVTEQ Reaches VAR Agreement With Leading Irish GIS Specialist

Mapflow takes advantage of full coverage Ireland map data.

NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading global provider of digital maps for vehicle navigation and location-based solutions, has signed a VAR agreement with Dublin based Mapflow. Mapflow and NAVTEQ have already worked together on a number of projects in Austria, the UK, France and Portugal, but the recent VAR arrangement provides the opportunity to develop the relationship further.
The largest independent provider of GIS and LBS technology in Ireland, Mapflow's product suite supports blue chip customers such as O2, Vodafone, BT, the AA, Transport for London and Hibernian Insurance.

NAVTEQ recently announced the availability of a full and detailed digital map of the entire Republic of Ireland. This coverage links seamlessly to the road network of Northern Ireland which also has full and detailed NAVTEQ map coverage – providing a consistent level of detail on both sides of the border.
