Mapflow's Enterprise Location Server (ELS) provides a platform that companies can integrate into their existing applications or use to build new applications.

Enterprise Location Server can be licensed either via traditional licensing or as an online service, enabling organisations to make use of location information and functionality without the need for extra hardware or location software skills.

Enterprise Location Server is comprised of two core components:

LocationAgent
LocationAgent (LA) manages the organisation and presentation of location information, including core geographic information such as map data, points of interest such as ATMs, or areas of interest such as flood plains.

PositionAgent
PositionAgent (PA) manages the extraction of location information from “locatable” devices, such as mobile phones and GPS devices.
