Job Spec: Senior GIS Analyst / Developer

The Opportunity: This is a full-time position working in Mapflow's Dublin headquarters to work in our engineering team in the development of leading edge GIS applications. The individual will be highly rewarded, from both a financial and a professional perspective.

Responsibilities: The selected candidate will have a customer facing role and will work with clients in the full application development lifecycle from user requirements, design, build, training and support. The role is a senior one and the clients will expect a professional, knowledgeable expert whom they can rely upon to provide thought leadership, an independent source of 'trusted' information and excellent project management input.

Requirements: The selected candidate will have 5+ years experience in a client facing, project based environment. He/she will have direct experience of developing MapInfo/Mapbasic applications and supporting MapInfo implementations. A training qualification in MapInfo software would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to interact effectively with senior executives within client and partner organisations is a prerequisite. He/she will have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in a previous role.
