Identifying and defining sales territories, tracking where field engineers are, providing a geographically-based, real-time status report to customers, identifying optimised logistics routes – these are just a few examples of what we refer to as location intelligence. Most organisations can benefit from location intelligence but few do: the requirement for expensive software, proprietary data sets and specialized skill-sets has precluded many organisations from utilising location intelligence effectively.
At Mapflow we believe that location intelligence should be available to a broader audience than has been the case to date, focused on business users and not restricted to the privileged few that have GIS expertise. Our Location Services product and offerings enable companies to embed location intelligence easily and effectively within their organisations.

Our software products utilise technology developed directly by Mapflow as well as technology capability sourced through our third party relationships. Many of our products are made available via a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, hosted and maintained by Mapflow. With very little capital outlay on hardware, software, human resources and data, customers can deploy location intelligence quickly and efficiently within their organisations.
Our services team draws on more than 50 years of relevant project delivery experience, including extensive knowledge developed within Accenture, Cambridge Technology Partners, Fujitsu Services and many others.
Software Products
Our software products utilise technology developed directly by Mapflow as well as technology capability sourced through our partners.
- By combining our business and spatial expertise with Google Maps we are able to provide our customers with location intelligent solutions via a low risk, low cost 'on demand' model.
- Mapflow is also a value added reseller of MapInfo products. This provides our clients with access to a suite of desktop GIS software which can be customized to their specific requirements.
- Mapflow's LocationAgent product provides a platform that companies can integrate into their existing applications or use to build new applications. LocationAgent manages the organization and presentation of location information, while also handling the extraction of location information from 'locatable' devices, such as mobile phones and GPS devices.
We offer our customers traditional licensing models, although our preference is to utilise a Software as a Service (SaaS) model where appropriate.
Deployment choices are driven by our customers - we offer a wide spectrum of options including hosted, deployed and distributed architectures.
Data Products
Mapflow licenses a wide selection of mapping products for Ireland and the UK.
We have one of the most extensive partner networks of third party data suppliers, including Ordnance Survey (UK and Ireland), GeoDirectory, CSO, Experian, Navteq, TeleAtlas as well as specialist providers such as JBA (flood modeling).
